Contemporary Metal Garden Sculpture - Balancing Act Sculpture RHS Flower Show Tatton 2007

Designed for Vale Royal Borough Council Show Feature Garden "Reflections of our future" - the impact of climate change.

The sculpture "Balancing Act" designed by Phil in collaboration with local glass designer and maker Sara Wood - comprised of a hand-blown glass globe representing the Earth surrounded by hand-blown glass butterfly feeder vessels.

The sculpture illustrated how our actions could have potentially devastating effects on wildlife and aims to show that nature is a finely tuned balancing act.

"Our future is a balancing act,

it is a big responsibility for us all,

I think we have a lot to learn"

      Phil Rogers designer maker
